OUR COMMITMENT - FROM THE HEART FOR THE HEART
Deployment in Kisoga, Uganda – March 2023
In March 2023, the team from Medical Aesthetic Atelier, together with the aid organization CHEIRA, under the direction of Dr. Christian Niehus (Praxis am Zeltweg) , was active in Kisoga, Uganda, as part of a medical-surgical mission.
Our mission was to provide qualified medical and surgical care to patients in need, while simultaneously sharing our expertise with local healthcare professionals to promote sustainable improvements in local medical care. At the same time, this mission was also a deeply moving experience for us, allowing us to gain new perspectives, cultural insights, and valuable lessons in collaboration and gratitude.
Our commitment was supported by MASAG , to whom we extend our sincere thanks for their valuable partnership and trust. Their support enabled us to successfully realize our mission and make a sustainable contribution to the health and quality of life of numerous people in Uganda.
Deployment in Murang'a, Kenya – August 2025
In August 2025, the team from Medical Aesthetic Atelier was once again on a humanitarian mission – this time in Murang'a, Kenya, again under the direction of Dr. Christian Niehus (Praxis am Zeltweg) and in cooperation with the aid organization CHEIRA.
During this humanitarian mission, we were able to provide medical and surgical care to numerous patients in need, while simultaneously sharing our knowledge with local professionals to improve medical care in the long term. Our time on-site allowed us to offer direct assistance and foster sustainable structures that will have an impact beyond our initial mission. At the same time, we gained invaluable experience – learning about cultural differences, different approaches, and the power of solidarity and trust. These encounters have enriched us both personally and professionally.
Thanks to the valuable support of our partners, this project was made possible in the first place – we are grateful and proud to have positively influenced the lives of many people.
