HYLASE®
Hylase® is an enzyme from the hyaluronidase group that selectively breaks down hyaluronic acid in tissue. It is used in aesthetic medicine to correct excess or uneven fillers and to reduce local swelling after injections.

Result
Within just a few hours, a reduction in excess filler or swelling becomes visible. After one to two days, the tissue has usually calmed down completely, allowing the final result to be clearly assessed.

Duration of effect
The effect of Hylase® is permanent, as the enzyme completely breaks down the hyaluronic acid in the treated area.

Social competence
Immediately. Slight redness, swelling or minimal bruising at the injection sites may occur in the first one to two days, but are usually inconspicuous and can be easily concealed with make-up.

Repeated applications can be performed as needed, if further corrections are required or if larger amounts of hyaluronic acid need to be treated.

Are there any limitations after the treatment?
Direct sunlight, intense heat, or strenuous physical activity should be avoided for 24 hours. Otherwise, no special precautions are necessary.
Is the treatment painful?
Most patients find the injection minimally uncomfortable, as it is only administered superficially into the tissue.

Mild redness, swelling, or a temporary feeling of tightness are possible. Rare side effects, such as allergic reactions, will be discussed beforehand.
