MEDICAL MICRO-
NEEDLING

Medical microneedling is a gentle procedure in which fine needles precisely stimulate the skin. The tiny micro-injuries stimulate the body's own collagen and elastin production, resulting in smoother, firmer, and more resilient skin. At the same time, the absorption of active ingredients applied after the treatment is improved.

OVERVIEW

Effect

  • Stimulation of collagen and elastin production in the skin

  • Smoothing of fine wrinkles and improvement of skin texture

  • Reduction of scars, e.g. acne scars

  • Refined pores and a more even skin tone

  • Increased absorption of active ingredients when serums are applied after treatment.

  • Firmer, more vibrant skin with a fresh appearance

  • Backs of the hands or other areas of skin that are losing elasticity and structure

Result

After just one to two weeks, the skin appears fresher; after four to six weeks, firmer skin and refined pores become visible. The full results are usually apparent after two to three months.

Duration of effect

The results typically last for several months. For long-term improvement in skin texture, firmness, and scar appearance, regular maintenance treatments are recommended, usually every 6–12 months.

Social competence

Immediately after the treatment, the skin may be red and slightly swollen. This usually subsides within 24–48 hours, after which you can resume your social and work activities.

Special

Upon request, a customized active ingredient cocktail can be incorporated during the microneedling procedure. Which active ingredient is best suited to your skin will be discussed with you on-site.
